First - HUGE THANKS to Dragon-boy for helping me finally getting a LJ icon!!!|
I went to A&S last night and finished sewing the other celtic knot on my grey leine. (Yes - I only managed to sew one on driving to Rising Waters and actually went to Coronation with one knot on and my "brat" (Irish cloak) over the other should to cover the missing knot.)
I am now pretty much ready for my courses at Practicum. I have 5 examples to bring in and talk about for the costuming course.
Youth Group planning is getting on track. We are talking about having a prayer and praise night on March 20 and going to see "The Passion" on March 6.
Tyr and I have heard back from our relatives in Norway and from Genevieve and it looks like the trip dates will be March 26 to April 6.
I have my book club on Sunday and we will be discussing "Everybody's Normal Till You Get to Know Them". Despite how much I've been enjoying it and journaling through it and having all kinds of life changing thoughts - I still am on chapter 9 of a 12 chapter book. So now it's time to pick up the pace and finish it this week. I'm trying to convince my small group that we should read the book as a group - so I might get to study it in more depth.
I'm going to writers' group tonight. My New Year's resolution has been to write 1-1.5 hours per week. Up to last week, I'd actually stuck to it. And I'm not going to have any time to write this week either. Well, I'll have to make sure that I really try to get some done on Thursday the 26th.
