Shamelessly stolen from the LJ of Bhanfhlaith - the Friday file. Every Friday, this website posts 5 questions for people to answer in their journals. This week's aren't the most scintillating, but:

When was the last time you...

1. ...went to the doctor?

September, 2002 - in my post-childbirth check up.

2. ...went to the dentist?

Either October or November.

3. ...filled your gas tank?

It was filled last night. The last time I personally did it was Wednesday the 4th. (I seem to only do it when it's late at night and freezing and I'm worried about running out of gas on the Queensway.)

4. ...got enough sleep?

Sunday night.

5. ...backed up your computer?

I've never backed up a computer in my life.

Now, in other news -

Getting the plane tickets booked means that I can officially plan everything else in my life that needs to be planned around it. Lots of Youth Group stuff is now solidifying.

I'm feeling more confident about the courses at Practicum.

It looks like I'm having people over for a games night in early March. (Board games that is.) If all goes well, this will hopefully be a once a month-ish occurence. It's a first step to having a social life again. Athena is going to come. If I could start seeing her even once a month ... that would be 10 or 11 more times than I normally see her per year. And to think that we used to sometimes spend a hour on the phone at nights after seeing each other at high school all day.

I read a poem for the first time at the writer's group on Wednesday. Well, actually I recited it from memory. People seems to like it. They've now listed me on their web page. It's like I am now one of them after only 3 meetings. Many of them have stories and poems posted on the web page; I'll have to find something of mine to contribute. (I also noticed that 2CatDaddy had co-written a story called "Bondage". I never would have thought of him as being that kind of writer, but you learn new things about your friends all the time.) :)

The furniture store from which we ordered our dining room cabinet called. It's in and will be delivered on Tuesday!
