Tailor
Anyone know a good tailor in Ottawa?

I've used those Stitch-it places in malls before, but this time I have some complicated things like shortening a lined trenchcoat and hemmed curved sleeves on a jacket.

http://www.hillarys.ca/location.html is the best dry cleaners in town, and they do alterations. They may also be able to supply you with a list of tailors that could do your alterations!

We use someone in Lanark for all our alterations.Ppat McLaren is a fantastic woman, who does the most lovely dresses for weddings as well, and is a genius with a sewing machine. I don't think it would be too much of a trek for you up there, and its so pretty this time of year with the leaves! We've used her for well on 15 years now. She used to do alterations to my riding habit for shows!
