Our family in a nutshell [Jun. 3rd, 2004|10:39 pm]
Vesta-Venus
Ever catch a glimpse of yourselves as you must appear to others. I was on my way to the dance party tonight. I put on the top half of my costume, but still had my jeans on. As I was getting into my car, my brother who was parked beside me asked me to hold a tape measure on one side of the car so he could measure the dimensions of his roof.

And then I smiled because I realized that there we were ... me in a sequinned bra for all the world to see, and Tyr off to Canadian Tire to buy a roof rack so that he can drive his medieval pavilion 10 hours to camp in medieval clothes for a week.

My parents are so straight-laced. They really did try hard to raise normal children ... :)
