|Worshipfest - Day 1

We got there late. There is finally a competition at the government to staff those senior policy writing positions that they've let people act in for four years since they canceled the last competition for those jobs. Hunter helped me write my application.|
We missed the first band.
Second band was T-Bone. They were probably good for their genre, but hip-hop/rap with a touch of reggae is not my taste.
The last band was Pillar. I'd never heard them before, but these guys rock!! Very hard, but very good. I wouldn't mind picking up a CD at some point. They sang a cover of "Sunday Bloody Sunday" which is on In the Name of Love http://www.inthenameoflovecd.com - a Cd of Christian artists covering U2 songs. (Jars of Clay, Toby Mac, Delerious? and Audio Adrenaline covering songs by my favourite band to benefit World Vision ... it doesn't get much cooler than that!) I must pick up a copy tomorrow. Pillar did a great version too.
I'm so psyched up from the show, but I must go to bed to some sleep - tomorrow's another big day.
P.S. For those Caldrithigites - I ran into the first baron and baroness tonight, but it was too hard to talk to them over the loud music.
