Went to the writer's group again last night (second time). I found it inspiring to hear other's read their work. Maybe I'll bring some of mine next time. Tonight is my weekly writing night - so we'll see if it pays off.|
I keep forgetting to weigh myself in the morning because the scale is in Grace's room and I usually don't want to have her cry when she sees me leave. Today I weighed myself with my clothes on and I weighed the same as I did last week naked. That has to be a good sign - right?
Hunter asked me a weird question the other day. I loaned her "Goddesses in every woman" - the psychology book from which I took my name. She asked me what archetypes I thought the characters from the Lord of the Rings were. I think Arwen is a Hera, because she was all about marriage - she traded in her elven lifespan for a human one. I think Galadriel is mostly a Demeter (the mother archetype), with possibly some Hestia/Vesta in her as well. And Eowyn (my favourite) - I think she is an Artemis.
